Our team is a close-knit family business that works hand in hand with you from idea to moving day.

What we do

While we specialize in design services and building residential homes, we also offer steel buildings of all shapes and sizes through our relationship with Portland Systems, plus services for remodeling and renovations.

About Steve

After years of playing pond hockey as a boy, Steve Tartaglino continued to compete throughout his college years at University of Maine.  Those years on the ice provided a foundation of “team” and then reinforced the importance of “team” as a part of success.

Steve has been building the homes of his clients’ dreams since 1980, spending his first fifteen years in the industry as a builder in Rhode Island.

Since 1995, all of his buildings have been constructed in the Flathead Valley.

Pat Mills, our lead working field supervisor, has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has been part of the Cornerstone team since 2001.

About James

James McElwain, a working field supervisor, has great organizational skills that help keep your home’s construction on track. His military experience makes him an excellent asset to our team. James has been with us since 2004.
